Have Questions?
Frequently Asked
Questions
Do I need to have any choir experience?
Nope! Our members have a variety of musical experiences and backgrounds, from complete novices to professionals. All are welcome to join, regardless of whether you’ve had prior musical experience.
Do I have to audition?
No audition is required to join our group. If you don’t know which section (soprano, alto, tenor or bass) you belong in, we’re happy to help with placement.
What type of music do you perform?
Our group performs a variety of music, typically including some folk, musical theatre, pop, contemporary choral, etc. We also take requests each year from members.
How do I join?
We accept new members (ages 18+) throughout the months of September and January each season, though there is a cap on membership at 125 choristers. If you are interested in joining us, we recommend registering in advance of our first rehearsal of the term to secure your spot. If you are interested in trying us out first, you are welcome to come to a rehearsal in September or January, but know that we cannot reserve a seat for you and may fill up well before the first rehearsal occurs.
UPDATE: We are now full for the fall 2024 session. We may have spots open in January 2025. If you are interested in being on our waiting list, please fill in this form: https://forms.gle/4YQZKgeGypoNMrgh7

When and where do you perform?
We typically do 3 concerts per year, in November, December and May. See our upcoming events page for more details about our planned performances.
